இறைவன் மற்ற ஸ்தலங்களில் குளித்தல், அலங்காரம் செய்தல், தூங்குதல் ஆகிய செயல்களை செய்கிறார். ஆனால் ஆண்டவன் அன்னபோஜனம் ஏற்பது ஜெகந்நாத் பூரியில்தான்.

சத்திய யுகத்தில் நாராயணன் வடிவத்தில் பத்ரிநாத்திலும், துவாபரயுகத்தில் ஸ்ரீகிருஷ்ணன் வடிவத்தில் துவாரகையிலும், திரேதாயுதத்தில் இராமர் வடிவத்தில் இராமேஸ்வரத்திலும் பூஜிக்கப்பட்ட மஹாவிஷ்ணு இந்த கலியுகத்தின் தாருபிரம்ம (மரவிக்ரஹம்) ரூபமாக ஜெகந்நாத் பூரியில் பூஜிக்கப்படுகிறார்.
